What is a Health Coach? Health coaches are experts on health, human behavior and motivation. Many modern disease diagnoses are labels for a ‘dis-ease’ in a unique body - something that went out of balance and that could be 'eased' back in. I help you understand what is going on in your unique body by looking at all symptoms and imbalances and determining the best way to 'ease' your way back to feeling good again. So how do we achieve? Being healthy doesn't have to be hard! My approach follows the principle of 'bio-individuality' meaning everyone is as individual as snowflakes and has unique body, food and lifestyle needs. To ensure success, a customized plan is developed rather than a one-size-fits-all option. To do this, we identify the root cause of symptoms, correct any imbalances and create long-lasting support for the the whole self - body, mind, and spirit.
Relationships, exercise, career and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. The reason we experience “dis-ease” goes way beyond the physical body. I’m here to help you find it. To help you reach your wellness goals, we look at the "whole" self. In doing so, we get to the root cause of what has prevented you from attaining your goals and achieving vibrant health. We take a very close look at your body and MINIMIZE what is harmful to start the healing process, we add in what's needed to MAXIMIZE healing, and then PRIORITIZE the necessary ingredients for creating an environment for healing. And you receive ongoing support and guidance every step of the way!
Who needs a coach? "Everyone needs a coach," according to Bill Gates in his opening words of his TED Talk with impact. Whether you're a basketball, player, tennis player, gymnast or a bridge player we all need people to provide feedback, push us beyond our limits, and drive us to change. And with no feedback, no coaching, there's just no way to improve. Without a coach, without getting the tools for improvement, how do you know if you are improving?

Think back to a time when you were passionately in love. Everything was exciting. Colors were vibrant. Intimacy was magical. Your lover’s touch and feelings of exhilaration sustained you. You were floating on air, gazing into each other’s eyes. You forgot about food and were high on life.
As a child, remember when you were playing outside just having fun? Mom called you for dinner and you weren't hungry. The passion of play grabbed all your attention.
Sometimes the energy in our lives feeds us not food. These moments and feelings demonstrate that everything is food. We take in thousands of experiences in life that can fulfill us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We hunger for play, touch, romance, intimacy, love, achievement, success, art, music, self-expression, leadership, excitement, adventure and spirituality. All of these elements are essential forms of nourishment. The extent to which we are able to incorporate them determines how enjoyable and worthwhile our lives feel. All that we consider today as nutrition is really just a secondary source of energy.
